Welcome from Joan Wilson

       I am a Minnesota native  living in the Minnetonka area. and I have enjoyed making mosaics for the past 13 years.  I have sold my artwork at various art fairs in Minnesota including the Park Point art fair in Duluth, the Excelsior art fair, and the Julebyen art fair in Knife River. 

The theme of most of my work revolves around the natural beauty of Minnesota and especially the north shore.  Most of my past work has been done using old skis, canoe paddles ans metal containers as a base.  While I still make these, I have recently started doing more of a poster style work using wood as the base.  I try to add interest to my work by using a variety of materials including glass, metal, rock and wood.
