Welcome from Allicat Beads

A little about my jewelry:  I like nature, I like adornment, I like the combination of nature and adornment!  I like my hands to be busy.  I am a creative person, a maker, each item is handmade, and most likely, imperfections exist enhancing the natural uniqueness of each individual piece.

My materials are either locally sourced such as fallen birch bark from a tree or rocks found upon a hike and tumbled in my workshop.  A piece may be made with feathers discovered on a trail or used leather belts purchased and repurposed into jewelry of some kind.  I also purchase copper and aluminum sheet or wire, and beads to repurpose into art.  

When utilizing natural materials one has to have an understanding that each piece of bark or rock is unique and slightly different from the next.  Each time I hand shape, hammer or texturize Copper or Aluminum, I am illustrating the individualization of every piece that I create.
